Bullet Journal Faves ft. GoldenBloggerGirl

Current obsession: Bullet Journaling (or BUJO’s). Not only is it a super cute way to organise your school and personal life, but really fun and a great way to spend free time (apart from blogging of course :). I also find it really useful to stay on top of my blogging schedule and Instagram posting. This post is about my favourite supplies that I use literally every time I BUJO.

Today’s post is another collab, this time with Abigail from the GoldenBloggerGirl blog. I really love her stunning blog layout and highly recommend you go and check out. She does some lovely hand lettering posts and is also a journaling girl too. Make sure to head over to her BUJO post as well.

1. Journals

Bullet journaling is all about the journal so it’s important to get yourself a decent journal. However, things can get pretty pricy so I like to head to a few local dollars stores or my favourite, Kmart to find some cheaper alternatives. The two shown above are from Officeworks ($13) and Kmart ($2). I love the dot journal from Officeworks, it has build in index and page numbers which is really useful but the pages aren’t very thick which can be a problem sometimes. The other journal I use for my art, painting, collages and calligraphy. The pages are really thick (and blank so I guess it’s not really a journal 🙂 I love how cheap and convenient this journal is as well.

2. Highlighters/ makers

Colour is key when it comes to BUJO’s so these highlighters are perfect. Not only are the colours pastel, they are erasable which is good for someone like me who doesn’t use pencil first to draft spreads and drawings!! I bought these highlighters from Officeworks for five dollars and I haven’t regretted buying them since.

3. Staedtler Pens

These pens are amazing!! I love them because they are smooth against any kind of paper and come in a wide variety of colours. I did have a black but I used it so much it ran out 🙁 I would love to buy more in some pastel and rainbow colours. Here is a beautiful set you can find at Officeworks for twelve dollars.

4. Washi Tape

Like most people who live on Pinterest, most pages in my Bullet Journal have Washi Tape somewhere on them. My collection is growing quite fast and I’m not complaining at all. I like to find cheaper alternatives to the expensive tape that most hardcore BUJOrs buy, and I find it works just the same. Here are some of my favourites: Metallic set and patterned set (buy from Kmart in store), pink set from Officeworks.

That was my BUJO haul!! I hope you enjoyed and found this post helpful or inspiring in some way. I’m excited to do some more Bullet Journal and Art Journal posts in the future. Comment below what you would like to see or if you want to collab with another journaling posts 🙂

See you next posts, until then xox
